Not quite wishing on a star...[open w/mingle prompt!]
A: False Advertising (open)
[Enoch's garden has been growing for about a year now. He's never stopped tending to it once, with no home to return to he's found, and new plants from a variety of worlds have been added.
One of these is a juvenile paopu tree. That he very quickly learned grows sideways, forcing him to constantly move other, smaller plants from out of its shadow. After a few months of this, he decided to do his usual bartering routine (find common object in one world, trade for much better object in a world where it exists but is rare or old and valuable), looking for solutions. Eventually, he came across a magic potion of sorts, one that he was assured would cause a plant to fully mature in a matter of days.
For the paopu tree, it was a matter of seconds. And Enoch had made the mistake of standing in front of it, rubbing the potion into its bark.
It lifts him off its feet as its leafy canopy sprouts under him, which prevents him from dropping as it rises, but the way the slender beach stalk sways as it hits full height knocks him off anyway, and he falls to the ground with a heavy thud, two star-shaped fruits that were jarred loose along with him landing on his chest.
These fall into his lap as he pushes himself up with a pained groan, otherwise unharmed, and picks one up to examine it, looking up at the now fruit-laden tree.]
What in the world is this...?
