[ When it came to her own world, there was not much left to it. That was to be expected from the girl who wanted everything, but had nothing at all. She took her fill of Fuyuki City, of the rest of Japan, and when the mud couldn't be contained, the rest of this part of the world burned. It isn't irreparable, but there's very few left in this variation of an Earth twisted by Angra Mainyu willing to raise up arms. Yet, when the pawn (who believes herself to be a queen) is left alone by the devices that command her, there's a door.
It isn't the first time she's seen this door, but today she takes it upon herself to peer inside.
Memories that were repressed flood her mind and for a brief moment, the teenager girl considers slamming the door shut again. For the first time in so long, fear betrays her and fills her features momentarily before she swallows it down as she has swallowed everything before. Voids with endless darkness form at her feet, but no matter what... nothing seems to be sucked inside.
Unsatisfied, it isn't until she has an owl made of brilliant ruby resting against her shoulder does she begin to explore. Everything's a blur right now, but perhaps she'll run into someone who can remind her of what things were like before, that maybe she's capable of a smile or two? ]

You there--is this your home? Talk about a contrast.
[ That second part may have been better said under her breath. ]

Visor down, she turned her head toward Rin. The magus looked so much like her master, yet so different. Darken the hair, turn those eyes back to the green they once were, remove Angra Mainyu's taint, and she looked just like the one Saber had killed to protect her master not too long ago.
It was hard to say which version she preferred.]
No. It is not. Nor is it yours, Rin.

The decor is too plain and not all that welcoming. If this is what most see when they step through that door, it explains why this room is quiet. There's no substance to it, but then again that's what could be said of this place.
[ She remembers a tower vaguely, full of people from various worlds that weren't her own. Faces who filled unmarked graves back home. ]
This is the Second Magic again?

[There was a pause before Saber turned fully toward the magus.]
You could always redecorate. I believe this place's previous masters are no longer present.

Suppose that would be enough to draw the others out of hiding.

[Oh yes, Saber finally remembered what went on with THIS one.]

We're all a little out of place here, some more than others. You think he'd show if I made a big enough of a fuss?

[ Frowning, she taps her finger along her cheek thoughtfully. Deep in thought, but without any indicator as to what rules her mind. ]
Saber, where is your Master?
no subject
[Exactly -where- Sakura was, Saber didn't know, but she couldn't feel her presence.]

Without a Master, you'll--well no, we've determined that it doesn't necessarily work that way here in the tower. The collars?

He looks up as she comes up the stairs and smiles with the satisfaction of working hard, falling back to sit for a short break.* Hello.
*He glances up at the owl against her shoulder.* That's quite the ornament you have there.

What are you doing with this dirt? There's hardly any in there. [ Stating the obvious as she makes her way towards the hole slowly, mindful to not get any soil on her shoes. ]

*Hopefully he won't be alone at it much longer.*

A garden.
And what do you intend to grow in this garden?

Plants from many worlds.
Do you intend to travel to them or will you just ask the others to bring them here?

*It's the perfect excuse to continue to explore other worlds while he searches for his original world - he had been in the precarious situation of being in a different world already when he was taken, which was about to die, itself.*
